Terms & Disclaimers (Quotes)
Effective for all artificial and natural lawn supply and installation services.
1. Measurement Disclaimer
All prices quoted per square meter are provisional and subject to final on-site measurement upon completion. The final invoiced amount may be adjusted accordingly based on the actual square meters installed.
2. Access & Standby Time Clause
Please ensure full and uninterrupted access to the site on the scheduled installation date. If our team is unable to proceed due to site inaccessibility after delivery of stock, standby time charges may apply at our standard hourly rate.
3. Eco Estate Restrictions & Product Compliance
Certain Eco Estates prohibit the planting of Kikuyu or other specific lawn types. It is the client’s responsibility to verify and obtain written approval from the estate before installation.
Lawngevity and its suppliers will not be liable for any access refusal by estate management. Once stock has been ordered, dispatched, or delivered to site, it is non-refundable and non-returnable. Any loss or re-delivery costs resulting from estate access denial will be for the client’s account.
4. Substrate & Site Preparation Disclaimer
Our quotations assume a level and accessible surface. Additional charges may apply if site conditions require excavation, levelling, root removal, rubble clearance, or any other remedial work.
Lawngevity will notify the client before proceeding with any such work not included in the original quote.
5. Drainage & Soil Conditions
Lawngevity is not responsible for existing drainage issues or subsurface pooling. While basic compaction and drainage preparation is included, advanced drainage systems (e.g., French drains) must be quoted separately if required.
6. Natural Lawn Establishment & Maintenance
We guarantee the supply and correct installation of natural lawn as per industry standards. Post-installation maintenance (e.g., watering, fertilising, mowing, weed control) is the client’s responsibility. No warranty applies where lawn health is compromised due to neglect, insufficient irrigation, unsuitable soil conditions, or poor environmental factors (e.g., excessive shade).
7. Artificial Lawn Product Warranty
Artificial turf supplied by Lawngevity is backed by manufacturer warranties which may vary by product range. Warranty covers UV resistance, colourfastness, and general wear but excludes damage due to:
Misuse or abuse
Chemical spills or staining
Pet damage (e.g., chewing or digging)
Fire or extreme heat
Acts of nature (e.g., flooding, hail)
Warranty documents are available upon request.
8. Pet Usage & Odour Management
Artificial lawn is pet-friendly but requires regular cleaning to prevent odour and bacteria build-up. Lawngevity recommends professional maintenance or use of our approved enzymatic cleaners. Pet-related wear or damage is not covered under warranty.
9. Weather-Related Delays
Installations may be delayed due to adverse weather conditions. Lawngevity will reschedule at the earliest convenience and cannot be held liable for such delays.
10. Colour & Batch Variation
Artificial lawn is produced in dye lots. Slight variation in colour, texture, or pile may occur between batches. We cannot guarantee an exact match for future orders of the same product.
By accepting a quotation or proceeding with installation, the client acknowledges and agrees to the above terms.
